Pharmacy Technician Course
Pharmacy Technician Program is designed to train students the skills of counting pills, preparing and dispensing medication, they will also be train in order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging and the use of a prescription balance. The program includes 150 hours of classroom and laboratory. There is an additional 120 hours of externship. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certifying Board Examination. To be listed on the Pharmacy Certification Technician Board in NC, students must take and pass The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)exam.
The Tuition is $1750.00 ( which include the text book, exam prep book, handouts, student’s insurance). Other requirements includes: drug test, background check, TB skin test, lab supply fee and uniform.
The class dates are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 2 PM for 10 weeks. The year calender are as follows:
