Mission Statement of the Umanah Healthcare Institute
Umanah Healthcare Institute is an independent, post-secondary/vocational institute. Our goals are to provide quality education to qualified individuals regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, mental status, sexual orientation, disability or natural origin; such will result in developing the knowledge, attitude, and competencies to function with integrity and compassionate practices in our healthcare system.

- To prepare individuals to function competently and lay a solid foundation in their chosen healthcare field.
- To recruit qualified educators and professional staff to provide quality education to students.

Meet the Instructors at Umanah Healthcare Institute
Kathleen Rivers, RN, BSN, CDS has more than 19 years experience in an Acute Care setting, Nurse Preceptor, and Clinical Documentation.
Courtney Adamson, RN BSN, MSN has more than 16 years experience in nursing as Nurse Instructor, Med/surg and Quality Management.
Patricia Umanah, RN, BSN, MBA, HCM, LNC, CCDS has more than 15 years experience in Orthopedic, Med/surg, Critical Care, Geriatrics, and Clinical Documentation. Won Nurse Excellence Award 2011.
Geisha Greene, RN, BSN, WCC, BS, has more than 15 years Nursing experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, Medical -Surgical, Home Health, Wound Care, and Nursing Management.
